Dr. Casagrande received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Magna Cum
Laude, from the Medical College of Virginia. In addition to his dental
degree, Dr. Casagrande also earned a Master of Science degree and a certificate
in Orthodontics from the Medical College of Virginia. During his time
at MCV, Dr. Casagrande was an Alexander Fellowship recipient, part-time
clinical instructor at the School of Dentistry, and received grants from
Pfizer for work on his master’s thesis.
Dr. Casagrande
is highly trained in the latest orthodontic techniques and treatments
for adolescent and adult patients including Invisalign and self-ligating
bracket systems that can reduce treatment time and increase patient comfort.
He has extensive experience with complex cases requiring orthognathic
jaw surgery and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department
of Orthodontics at MCV. Dr. Casagrande uses the latest technologies in
orthodontics to maximize smile esthetics and give the best possible results
to his patients.
In his free time,
Dr. Casagrande enjoys spending time with his wife Gena, son Tyler, daughter
Carter, playing golf, baseball, exercising, listening to music, and traveling.
